Aubri D'sha Rushing The Multi Miracle Baby

Who said any thing about C.P. time?

Who would have thought that my family would go to Disney World and leave without me being able to see Mickey and all of the gang? Well I wasn't about to let them leave me out of the vacation. On the 29 of September, Mommy thought she was packing to go home. NOT ! Well I wanted to see Florida and I didn't feel like waiting until next year, so by some strange occurrence, Mommy's water broke. DID I DO THA-A-AT? Dad got the phone book and went to work on finding the closest hospital. The hospital in Celebration was the closest, so we went there. When we got there the nurses examined Mom and confirmed that her water had broke. The only problem was that I was two months early. They immediatly told her that they were going to transfer her to another hospital because they didn't have the facility for her to deliver me there. So in the ambulance and off to Florida Hospital South Orlando we go. Manny, Chyna and Dad followed us over to the hospital. Once we got there, more examinations and then Mommy really got stressed because they told her that they wanted to admit her and if I wasn't here within the next three weeks, they would have to do a C-section. Mommy already escaped one surgery and didn't want to face another one. They gave her some medication so that my lungs would strengthen and put her in the high risk section of the maternity ward. Dad took my brother and sister to the Ronald McDonald House. Enough waiting !!! At around 11:30 P.M. I decided to blow some dust off of Diana Ross's career and let the whole world know " I'm Coming Out ! ".  Mommy called the nurses and they did every thing they could do to keep her from pushing. They checked her and came to the conclusion that ther was nothing they could do. They tried to call Daddy but he was getting his 40 winks and lost count at 30 so he had to start over and missed the call. Mean while, at around 12:50 a.m. in runs the doctor. Daddy used to sing this song in the choir, "It's Your Time For Your Miracle." Well it was time for Mommy's and Daddy's miracle and I was tired of waiting. One push for the Father, one push for the Son and a squirm fo the Holy Ghost, "Hello world, It's Aubri D'sha Rushing." Born at 7 months. 7 is God's number of completion so I guess He figured I was done. God made me better than Daddy makes salmon. But to God be the glory.

My cousin, Wilynn helped Mommy come up with my First name. I guess it was also a gift to my Dad. Daddy has two other daughters besides me and Chyna. Their names are Autumn and Brittany. So what they did was take the A and U from Autumn's name and the B, R, and I form Brittany's name and came up with Aubri. All of my grandma's grand daughters in New Jersey have names that begin with the letter D, so that's where D'sha comes in. When I was born I weighed 3 pounds 9 ounces. Once I did my traditional new born infant weight drop, I went down to do 3 pounds 6 ounces. They didn't have to put me on a respirator, they didn't have to tape my eyes shut, I was only on I.V. fluids for maybe 5 days, ( GRACE ). Before I was two weeks old I went from the isolette into a big girl bassinette.

My next step was getting rid of this feeding tube and start bottle feeding. I've pulled my feeding tube out atleast 3 times. They gave me one bottle a day to get me used to feeding and swallowing without choking. The first day they gave me a bottle, I drank 19 out of 31 ml in 1/2 hour. I've done as much as 22. It's been up and down but looking at the fact that I'm here two months early I think I'm doing pretty good. Now I can eat pretty much what ever I like, which is just about everything I can get my hands on.
